Let Go:

Will you ever let go

Of that filthy rose?

I always watch

As you waste time

Examining every petal

And every leaf,

Can you really be that stupid?

I can see the blood

From every scratch

Left by every thorn

Yet, you still cling to it

Protecting it

From what?

No matter how much

You water it

Or feed it

It will still wither away and

Die

What do you hope to gain?

It's just a worthless flower

It can never love you

As much as you do it

Stop wasting your time

Just let go
