me;anxiety
I
you reared your ugly head again
feeding off of my misery,
so tell me, when the morning comes
will there be an epiphany?
only Luna's embrace is left—
she's all I need for company,
for a moment there was comfort
but it was a mere fantasy
when the sky swallows these dark clouds
will it rid of your tyrrany?
or are we just stuck forever,
my beloved anxiety
II
the dark clouds are still over head
and so is this ambivalence,
it only brings transient chaos
no more fucking convalescence
it still over and above me;
thoughts of despair and violence
why is there no light shining through?
heaven is giving me silence
overthinking's not constructive—
it's just convoluted science,
but when will all of this end though?
'cos I'm running out of patience
I initially wrote and posted this on Instagram on two different occasions but I think it stands as a single poem as I wrote the latter a few hours later as a response to the former. Edit after edit— I was having trouble with the formatting on mobile but it's fixed now
