Mother

Feedback Received!

That patio littered with petals,

It will never leave me.

We sat there,

When you'd need me.

A mother daughter relationship turned upside down,

For there was no one else to trust, no one else around.

You'd confide in me and I'd never forget,

About tales, stories, and mostly regret.

Memories foggy, words are blurred,

But I'll never forget the message I heard.

Telling me the love you felt wasn't faux,

Cloudy visions disturbed what it meant, though.

When you've felt such intense pleasure from a powder,

I guess it's hard to hear anything else; for nothing will be louder.

Like her before the sun had even rose, life was frozen:

Unmoving, cold, and dead.

The path I had unknowingly chosen,

When I had decided to go back to bed.

Let it rip! Be harsh as POSSIBLE --- looking to improve.
