(Original content using for personal tattoo) Lightning
Nihility. Darkness entirely undisturbed
changed momentarily by auroral coruscation
a beaming ray of opportunity fast approaching Its cessation
afterwards nothing, no rapture or condemnation.
Pursuing Its ebbing glow, a cortege carries terminal epistle
a percussive explosion echoing through the night
memorializing the end, extolling Its era of light
though time never fails to make what once was fade from sight.
Its time was stunning, Its time was mortal
Its time was precious, and too soon spoiled.
Man should have but one primal fear;
to feel the sting of regret as they breath their last
realizing their light has faded, hushing
finding that time had gone by too fast
and they had truly experienced nothing.
Like I said, this is going to go onto my body so I want it to be the best it possibly can and want all criticisms. Especially unsure about the punctuation used so would greatly appreciate insight and suggestions on that. Thanks for the help!
