What are /r/CPB's thoughts on Lockdown?
I was a big fan of Zone Control in D1, and this reads like a truly competitive version of that, but I haven't had a chance to play it. r/DTG seems pretty split on it, but I don't necessarily trust their opinions on PvP. I won't have a chance to play it until tomorrow, but it seems like this place is a great community to accurately judge the game mode. So what are your thoughts?

I only got 5 matches in when it went live on Thursday and have been away from console (and will be until Monday), but I absolutely adore the more. 4v4 control with radar and a triple cap round win condition is great and I want it in rotation immediately.
You rewarded for good map knowledge, good movement, and good positioning. Death hurts, but spawning in and teact to the board feels much more substantial that the semi-perma death of Countdown and the "rush back to the crew" or survival. Power spawns being the same as control works surprisingly well. Best of 5 makes the match time at a good sweet stop over the somewhat overdrawn times of other modes.
Lockdown takes the best part of Zone Control and adds a cool secondary win condition that you can leverage depending on how individual skirmishes fallout. Lots of fun. Hope it becomes a trials mode because I am having lots of fun just solo queuing and I can't imagine the intensity of a full coordinated team holding two zones and collapsing on the third for the win.
