Tip: Overriding safety ineligibility for the new SLCB/Slot Cornerback specialist position
If you're like me, you like using safeties at CB3 and CB4, since they typically have better traits and run defense ratings. However, M19 has a new specialist position called SLCB or Slot Cornerback, which will slot in the SLCB1 and SLCB2 in any Nickel and Dime packages where a CB3 or CB4 would normally play. The advantage here is you can have a player be CB1 or CB2 while also being prioritized to cover Slot WRs. However, safeties are ineligible for these specialist positions and will not be on the field for Nickel or Dime situations even if they are at CB3 or CB4 in your lineup. (Note: This doesn't affect packages such as 46 Normal/Speed or or formations like Big Nickel Over G).
The trick is to simply use any package other than the default for Nickel/Dime formations. It will override the specialist spots and put your normal CB3/CB4 on the field. The downside is it will also override the other defensive specialists as well (RLE, RRE, RDT, and SUBLB).

Big nickel over g is in every book and it gives you your SS2 at the nickel spot, also uses all the rush DE and DT spots so you can run whoever you want, olbs, des without having to sub or lose chemistry for guys being OOP.
I was happy to see a big nickel package back since it left after M15, to be able to put who I want where I want is just fantastic.
