How will I show you till death do us part?

How will I know that you want me as well?

Do you believe I deserve a fresh start?

Can you not see that for me this is hell?

Promises broken and thrown to the wind--

Landing in arms that were waiting for love.

Now I am nothing but shy and chagrined.

Still I'm awaiting the sign of the dove.

Waiting for passion from you took its toll.

I grew so tired of feeling alone.

Other men offered to make me feel whole.

You would have hated yourself if you'd known.

Will you continue to punish my sin?

Can I persuade you to trust me again?

I don't want to end this so can we begin

mending the wounds that I made with those men?
