Don't know what happened, but I'll try again tonight or tomorrow. I won't let this be the end, it's just my first setback, a delay not a stoppage.

I love consistently seeing you post here. Keep it up and you'll succeed!

Sounds like you went 10 minutes longer than you could when you first started C25k!

Nothing wrong with trying again tomorrow. When I have a run like that I always make sure I’m hydrated and eating properly, and that I’ve gotten enough sleep. Mostly, though, I count it as a win because I lapped everyone on the couch!

Don't forget how far you've come, all those victories makes you strong enough to handle one repeated run!

That's the spirit! You'll get it

You have an amazing attitude! I love seeing your progress pictures each day. You always look so happy if not downright thrilled! I've been struggling lately and your enthusiasm really helps me keep going. I appreciate that you shared your delay today so we all know it's just one thing that happens sometimes to everyone. Thanks from this internet stranger.

Just remember to listen to your body. If it hurts, dont push it too far. It's okay to take a day off if you need it.

This. Better one or two unplanned rest days than 6-9 injury weeks.

Keep your chin up and don't let one little set back keep you down. You got this!

“This thing we call failure isn’t the falling down, but the staying down.” Keep it up my guy.

I say this at least once every few months on this sub, but any attempt at a run is not a failure.

I consistently will run 4-6 miles 3 times a week, and then will randomly have a day I make it half a mile and am just winded, exhausted, and just feel like crap. Sometimes I'm able to push through it, sometimes I'm not able to.

No matter how long you have run you will have days like this. The more you run the better you will get at pushing through them but they are always there.

Keep your head up, there is no shame in not finishing a run. It is only failure when you don't even start.

Not a failure just a extra practice run

I'm running along with you. Also w8r2. also didn't complete. I feel the pain too. :-(

these happened all the time. im in the 10k sub and still once or twice a month this happened. as long as you tried, even when you didn't complete, is a success. just keep going.

Sometimes when I see someone post that they didn’t complete a run, I get worried that they may end up not continuing with C25K. I definitely DO NOT worry about that with you. You pushing through 9 attempts at W1D1 is the stuff of legend. You’ll be back to kick W8’s ass, no doubt about it.

Keep it up!

This so much this u/nobodez and please look at your pictures so you can see how far you have come physically. There is such a difference between your first pic and todays. Be proud of all you have done and have achieved

Waking up late, tired, aching, and still going out and giving it a shot is still a victory. Plus it’s the middle of August.

Holy crap you look so good!!

I'm new to this sub, but just wanted to say congrats to you regardless of the "failure"! I think it's a success in and of itself to actually get out there to try, even if you're feeling crappy! The failure would be more like "I'm not even going to try". Good luck with your next try! :)

👍for writing regardless correctly.

How do people spell it incorrectly? Genuine question. How do people get that wrong?

And it’s maddening.

It's alright man!! Failure is part of life and getting past it is what makes you a better stronger person! Keep your head up and hit it harder tomorrow.

Man you did more than I did, good on you!

Mate, your progress has been stellar. Keep that head high!

Try again tomorrow! You got a 10min jog AND a walk in today- that’s more than I did!

We all have bad days. No shame in failing a run. Sometimes it just feels off. Just Keep up the hard work you, are doing so well.

You're still a rockstar in my eyes !

You got out and ran which is better than most folk, keep that head up matey!

We all get off days, you start a run and you know straight away it's not working out. No shame in pulling the plug. The only times I've hurt myself running were when I ignored that feeling and forced myself to run on.

7
FunkyJunkGiftsDONE!•

That's ten minutes more than I did today. Re-hydrate, re-fuel, and get out there tomorrow!

SharpSeventhDONE!•

We all have days like that, but don't let it get you down! I only made it about halfway through W8D1 the first time I tried it (even though I could do the 25 minutes in week 7 just fine), but then the next time I went I was able to finish without a problem. You're so close to the end, you've totally got this!!!

beautyisabeast•

You’ve inspired me to hold myself accountable, and to post to this sub more frequently. Your journey has been such a motivator, and I fully believe in you. Bad days happen, you’ve got this. ❤️

W8D3 stopped me. I wasn't in the right mindset, ate about an hour before running and the AC was broken in the gym. I took the weekend off and am in the right mind and am going to go in 30 min.

Some days are good days, and other days just aren't. It doesn't matter how far or how fast I've come over years - I still have days where I can barely get out the door.

Hang your hat on the fact you DID go out, you DID get 10 minutes in. Be proud of that! At least you tried instead of making excuses on why you couldn't even try.
