Our picnic

I'm hungry and I need a break.

Let's have a picnic by the lake.

Come on! Let's go! I'm in the mood.

We’ll bring some drinks and yummy food.

I'd like a turkey sandwich, please.

Can you add a slice of cheese?

A bag of chips, a sour pickle--

Oh how ants on hands do tickle!

I ate my sandwich. Now it's crumbs.

How ‘bout peaches? How 'bout plums?

Both so juicy! Both so sweet!

Is there something else to eat?

There's not much left. It's almost gone.

Look there goes a pretty swan!

Watermelon and dessert--

Whipped cream? Why yes, I'll have a squirt.

Now I'm full; I think I'm done.
