this is the way things are

distraction is the greatest contraption and my action that i choose to use is rapping

thugs on drugs lack hugs but pack slugs inside a shotgun for fun not realizing what they’ve done

this is the way things are

fathers could not be bothered to be a fathers rather enter the center of attention on his sixth sip of lager

this is the way things are

drugs as an escape from the hate and the problems plaguing our world

like rape but wait they say she asked for it or she’s a whore who opened doors and gave tours of her whole world

this is the way things are

the only thing you have complete and total control of is your behavior

so turn to an almighty savior to use him as a explanation for this meaningless world

but once your heal from that fact you’ll snap back into your daily routine of running around fiending for distraction

this is the way things are

this information isn’t for everybody this is just the way i see the world that has hurt me more than i can count

you can do everything right and still get punched in the mouth because things will go south no matter how the perfect route
