Margin for error
A fabric of words draping from above
Fit snug between lines that keep us in line
Wondering why the outside can’t be shared
With the gathering collection of words
Clamoring for attention, a bubble.
Running out of room the floor starts to fill
Where will our mason continue to build?
The only room left is outside the lines
He counteracts with a defiant sign!
Mutinous words start to breach, jumping through
The faulting prison wall. They settle to
Slumber, resting eternal, stack like stones
Building quicker with each tap of the pen
They start to march up and around the bend
Creating an archway the never ends.
Stepping through his creation and finding
That creativity has just begun.
