So I finally got round to seeing Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager.
As the title said its took a while and I know its been mentioned here before but I really felt the need to share just how much this blew me away, even though I knew pretty much every part of the story just seeing his achievements put together in such a loving manner was something really special.
Everything from the footage choice to the structure (it jumps around a lot) to the quality of the talking heads and of course to the words of Sir Bobby himself just reinforces what a rare and special talent he was, and not just as a manager but as a human being. The manner in which he conducts his life (the fight, the enthusiasm, the compassion and the dignity), right up until the end (his fifth battle with cancer) is nothing short of staggering.
Has everybody else seen this? What were your thoughts?

If you don't sob at the end when they're interviewing Gazza, you have no soul. Sir Bobby meant the world to that man and you could really feel it.
Yeah that really got to me, even as he was dying he would send people to check up on him.
