I'm so sorry. 💔
Thanks. I'm less hurt and more just annoyed, you know? Something should have been done to stop a cis guy from rooming with a trans girl.
especially after harassing me, and double especially because his key still works into my room
Wait- why would a cis guy be rooming with a trans girl in specifically gender inclusive housing? And still have a key?
Do I need to show up to this college and mom like I haven’t mommed before or is there some weird thing where I’m missing something? If this college is on the East Coast of the US, I will show the fuck up if your parents won’t. That is just wrong.
It wasn't gender inclusive housing. They screwed up paperwork on their end and I have to pay the price. It's p annoying if I'm honest.
I want to come over there and yell at people for you.
You're absolutely right. And I'm sorry it wasn't....wtaf went through their heads? I mean firstly, did they not unserstand that co ed rooming is awkward enough? And secondly....someone show them the stats on perps of sexual assault and murder (cis white men) and victims/survivors (largely trans women and woc and woc trans women!!!!!) I hate the world. I am happy you got away. Can you change the locks? Or?
I can't change the locks. Tbh, I can defend myself if it comes to it, but the issues still stand that this is allowed to happen.
I've had to send an avg of 3 emails a day with either forms for gender/name change issues or reports for sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct by one of my professors over 3 weeks.
The only people benefiting here are paper manufacturers lmaoo
Haha, well the trees certainly aren't! I'm sorry. I hope it works in your favor. My inbox is always open to listen and to make silly jokes. You are a warrior.
I'm sorry this is happening to you OP. I'm also sorry that I'm really ignorant, and have to ask you what you mean by "gender inclusive housing"?
I.e. trans-feminine people not being roomed with cis men, and vice versa.
Ummmm. That seems obvious
