Searching
Let me preface this by saying I've never submitted anything on here. I'm a musician and abstract artist. I've never considered myself much of a writer but I want to be able to write song lyrics, and poetry that mean something to me. I feel like I haven't tried writing artistically since high school so forgive me if anything is "bad" (I'm 22.) Looking for feedback or tips/ideas on creating lyrics before music. Art really keeps me alive.
Am I well defined?
Why can't I find my peace of mind?
Somedays I feel like climbing mountains,
just to go and see what I find.
I really don't mean to seem to not care.
I'm still searching.
Living life day to day just trying to find some happy place.
What is it in this life that you want?
Can you find it if you look hard enough?
