Crystalline
The dark of the ether’s convalescence
Arise the moon for the sun’s evanescence
Upon this land a silver beam does shine
This sight of grandiose crystalline
I'm stepping into its cool irradiation
My basking in its calm proclamation
A fading of the sun’s radiation
A waning of warm adulation
Alone amongst its softest rays
Awaiting as the sky turns ablaze
Among this golden land of sin
My mind does shudder herein
This aching feel no longer queer
The day so far the night so near
A rook upon a haggard branch
The gold goes fading to blanch
The sun has fallen dull again -
A fear this quiver is certain
I look up towards the silver light
Where am I but alone this night?
