Lie’s Truth Is Black

One day I began to float and everything looked different.

I could see myself but I wasn’t the same.

My skin was glossy and hard like porcelain

My eyes were gone and I had no mouth

The sky was a dark smoldering grey and ash fell from heaven

From the soles of my feet boiled a thick black tar.

As I continued to ascend I could see a black trail behind me.

The tar didn’t only cover what was under it But consumed the surface beneath it

Leaving thick boiling pits that were an even deeper black.

from them came the sounds of a deep constant hum that could be felt.

Thick, black, tar lathered vines emerged from their depths and were wrapped around my legs and had consumed everything behind me until all that could be seen was blackened.

As I ascended higher I could see my love.

She was also porcelain and her arms were reached out towards me.

The vines had intertwined up her legs and around her abdomen

They continued up her spine and wrapped around her throat

Going up her head they then burrowed into her ears, eyes, and mouth.

From down the inside of her torso and from out of her chest they held her now blacked heart

reaching themselves into every valve and filling every empty space.

And as I continued to ascend I saw what was before me.

And it was nothing. The world stopped at my feet and nothingness stretched into forever.

It was then when I realized what was happening.

There was nothing before me because I had no eyes to see or mouth to speak

And what we see is what we speak

And if what we speak is not what we see then we deceive our eyes

And I closed my eyes to truth and reality stopped with it.

And I spoke against reality and it made everything different.
