Grats, honestly thought it was crazy nobody else was trying to make a bow like this. I only have a +2/double damage/20 more socketed and no one else had anything similar to mine.

I think people were trying to make a bow like it, the odds are just so insanely low. I personally used over 3 mirrors to make this bow, and that was with buying a base.

isn't this bow only 9-10% better than Chin Sol(at close range)?

Compared to a chinsol/+6 frostferno, a shaper bow with all max rolls will always lose. That's why EH bows haven't been crafted until now, because everyone already did the math in POB and decided it wasn't worth it.
It might win if you are running cold EH, or EE EH.

vs endgame bosses you are never truly at close range, its comparablr to cleave range.

Nonsense, I stand right on top of Shaper/Elder in the Uber Elder encounter. You have to do it anyways to stop them spamming ranged spells. You're already doing it for Point Blank anyways.

What kind of bosses are you fighting at long range? All the guardians/shaper/elder are significantly easier when you blast them away face-to-face.

its not, highborn implicit is better unless you have crazy high %inc dmg, and it has crit multi to boot

Many people, including myself, were trying to get a bow like this. But most of us didn't have several mirrors worth of currency to invest into crafting. Therefore the odds of getting a "check this out Reddit" bow were even more abysmal :)

I crafted one like this but only with +1 and recrafted because it wasn't that good for RoA and I didn't know back then that it was kinda good for electrical hit FeelsBadMan

There's already a thicket bow out there with these mods and higher attack speed on it, so i wouldn't call this #1. I'd much rather have higher attack speed on ele hit and i personally don't know anyone who plays it with crit chance other than the few cold builds i've heard of for delving, where +1 arrow would be much more desirable for just plain clearing.

I just use quill rain for map clear lol, is good enough for t16's.

30% + as is still really good plus good dps, that said your still using chin for single target or same bow?
if using chin sol then just switch over to quill rain, mapping feels very fast otherwise the bow is good and better for uber elder since it can do portals way faster than quill rain.

Well, you asked a specific question and I answered it. But if you like damage at all ranges, here you've got a Deadeye clearing a T16 Vaal Temple with a Chin Sol. He forgot to switch to single target to kill the bosses as well.

I bought the base with the prefixes for 1 mirror, and then used an additional 270ex (With crafters @sabro, and @gona) to finally hit the suffixes. It was a long road where I set out to make this bow, and used over 1k fossil sets to begin with without hitting the prefixes. Buying it for 1 mirror seemed like a steal.

Hey its me ;) prefixes are just +3 and 20% more Attack damage right? Those bows cost like 10-15 ex, why pay 1 mirror?

Can you roll normal attack speed on a bow like this, or is it mutually exclusive with the double damage/ias roll?
Insane bow. Would love ele pen + chain instead of the crit mods, but just goes to show how ridiculous crafting bows is. This already has the two +gems mods, delve more dmg mod, shaper double damage mod. Another 2 rare shaper mods seems near impossible.

Chain would be epic but it probably one of the most difficult mods to hit on a bow.

Potentially it can be made if I get some copies of this made, unfortunately making this nearly broke me. So until I get some more funds it’ll stay like this :)

If you're going crit, wouldn't Harbringer base be better?
If not going crit then the crit multi is wasted and why craft crit chance?

Harbinger is a slow ass base. You want a faster base.

made myself a +3 harb bow and its a lot of fun, might not have the same dps, but being able to hit and run with huge single hits works well.

Depends on how you build. An extra 50% base crit will allow you to invest less in crit chance and more in crit multi and attack speed.

This may be a dumb question, but is this better than say a +8 4 link frostferno, or whatever it was called in incursion?

I think so since the 6th link can be for empower 4 so i think you can get like lvl28 EH which is 1 level lower with a +8 frostferno but your other support gems gain +1 and there is 20% more dmg with chance to double

The double damage doesn't only apply to sockets gems right? Also would the 30 cold to fire make up a bit for the missing +1, along with whatever prefixes you could swap the gem level prefix with?

Frostferno +8 and Chin Sol close range will probably be better.

Chin sol would marginally out dps a +3/20%more, but not with the 20% double. GZ on the sick craft!

I‘m using an Elder Base with +3, 20% delve mod and the 12%/20%as mod. Perfect for delve clearspeed
