Little Room
be my home
away from home
protect me from the storm that's coming
i locked the door and drew the curtains
hoping it will slow her down
i see her shadow under the door
i hide behind the wall of books on my desk
looking for words that will take me somewhere else
they can only take me to the calculus class
i've been avoiding for a while
She's calling my name
i hold on to my old blanket
trying to inhale some memories from the fabric
but i can't see the madeleines
behind my eyelids there's only darkness
She's scratching at the door
it won't take her long
little room on the fifth floor
hold me tight, i might fall.
