Hey there, looking for feedback on the first chapter to my fantasy novel. Hoping to get an overall opinion of the plot and pacing of the chapter, do you have any expectations on what is going to happen next.
On a more specific level I was hoping to get opinions on the characterisation of Urside, Koketso and Ife are they compelling characters or do you think they need to be expanded on more. I am also interested on whether you think the worldbuilding is strong enough are their aspects that capture your attention and make you want to know more.
Disclosure
I am experimenting with the violence in the scene, Urside has superhuman senses and because of that everything he experiences is heightened. The story features multiple characters and their perspectives are not as violent is this something that you believe works?
