The Return of the Gibbous

The moon lingers in the night sky

Still confidently high

But the light is waning,

As it shines a retreating reflection

It begins the descent.

Its the fall of the full moon

Meaning the return of the Gibbous,

And so the cycle remains,

Its the plight of Sisyphus.
