OnePlus Launcher High RAM Usage With Nova
I have an odd, and somewhat annoying, problem.
Noticed that my apps unload very frequently, even my most recently used ones. Checked the memory usage and saw that the OnePlus Launcher is running 100% of the time and using around 2GB of RAM constantly, even though I use Nova launcher.
Force closing it helps for a bit, until it decides to start up again and eat up my RAM...
Running on a 6T, I went to the launch event got it a week early, this has consistently been a problem since then.
Anybody got a solution that doesn't involve rooting to uninstall/disable the launcher?

What app are you using to see which app is using the most ram? I use nova as well and noticed that I'm using about 4.5gb of ram with nothing open, which seems to be an issue.
Tap the build number in the about phone sections in the settings to enable developer options.
Under System you'll have a new Developer Options section, in there there's a Memory section, and in that there's a memory usage by app part.
If I don't kill the OnePlus launcher it'll usually be in second place, after Android OS, despite doing... nothing.

They added a smart boost mode that stores app data in memory for faster launching.
