Life Pro Tip: Don't use your Morrisons Loyalty card in the Sainsburys Self-service machine

As title.

Yes - it goes barmy.

Yes - it summons help and flashes the big red light of doom.

Yes - it outputs a piece of paper registering its utter disgust at the code it has been forced to ingest printed on it.

I won't make that mistake again. (But I am tempted to try the Nectar card at Morrisons...)

Year ago I was smashed and trying to get money out of the machine at like 6am and it swallows my card, so I put in my other card for a different account and it swallows that too. Next day I find both my cards in my wallet........ but two other random cards something like gym and coffee rewards........ gone. Go figure.

Haha one Christmas me and my mate decided to meet up for a drink, which basically just turned into getting wrecked. I had to get some money out but it didn’t give my card back and I was fuming, was pissed off about it for about 3 days and then when I was looking for something in my purse it was just right there. Somehow within the space of five seconds I had forgotten I’d taken my card out of the machine and put it in my purse

Strolled up to a train station burger king half cut before closing once. "Big Mac meal please mate" "Sir this is burger king" "Ah it's all the same you know what I want" I don't remember the rest of the conversation but I know I had a whopper meal on the train home

Was in a burger king recently. Don't know the menu, who does? Ordered a box meal thing and she asked what burger I want. I ask what burgers are included and she rattles off a bunch in quick succession. None the wiser, I just say, the one in the picture. This confuses her. It takes me four more times repeating myself and pointing to the picture to get her to understand me.

6/10 burger was ok (not the best but edible) but the Nuggets it came with were horrendous

I’m still in shock of people trying to insert b&q or screwfix key fobs into the morissons petrol pumps.

They doesn’t like them and will..... throw them away... it happens so often even morissons stopped giving a fk

This could be a handy way to attract a member of staff when you have wine, and need them to type in their code.

The Tesco self-service tills are vulnerable to denial of service attacks with nectar cards!

My partner always scans his tesco clubcard in Sainsburys and his nectar card in tesco, the embarrassment every time the machine freaks out is unbearable, and he never learns
