  • Xbox One S 900p
  • PS4 1080p
  • PS4 Pro and Xbox One X both 1440p (latter has slightly sharper shadows)
  • All versions have bad frame pacing, PS4 Pro displays occasional frame drops in specific circumstances

Hoping for a patch on the frame pacing, it combined with the motion blur could definitely cause motion sickness for a lot of people. The lack of real XBX enhancements is also a little disappointing.

I'm genuinely surprised they weren't able or chose not to do 60fps, being a 3D platformer and all. Don't get me wrong, aesthetically it looks great but there doesn't appear to be any complex geometry, high res textures, demanding effects, or heavy AI. I'm immediately reminded of the Crash trilogy where even super low end PCs can run it at 60fps yet the consoles with better hardware are still stuck at 30fps.

Hopefully a PC port will come along eventually to fix framerate, load times, and blur.

6 straight minutes of history of the game before they actually do what the title of the video claims to do.

Spyro adopted a rendering technique that was both instrumental to the game's level scale, and also massively impactful on optimization techniques to where those same methods are still used today. That context is incredibly important when discussing the technical merits of a remake.

This isn't a video about the technical merits of a remake, it's a video about comparing graphics.

They shouldn't title it 'Graphics comparison' half the video is industry history and FPS comparisons.

You realize graphics are more then just how the game looks
