Ran into an odd bug playing as Reyn early on, never saw this on the N3DS version so it might be new to DE. Basically goes like this:

Reyn gets stun debuff > AI tries to encourage/aid you > player tries to enter guard state at about the same time > Reyn gets trapped in a perma-stun state that continues after the battle and softlocks the game (can’t open menus)

Without spending time trying to QA it (already my day job), this is probably avoidable as long as you don’t try to enter Reyn’s guard state while stunned. Hope this helps for all the tank mains out there.

For context, it follows 2D Mario tradition of having a run button, and a default movement speed that’s so slow that you’re going to be holding down that button the majority of the time.

I don’t have any sort of physical disability, but as someone who occasionally deals with carpal tunnel from an office job, I’ll get strains from holding anything tightly for too long. And I imagine that if you’re someone who does suffer from a disability that prevents maintaining p

According to posters on both ResetERA and the Steam forums, users who have downloaded the orchestral music mod for the PC version of Dragon Quest XI are getting piracy notices from their ISPs.

For those not in the know, series composer Koichi Sugiyama—due to his work being extremely well-regarded—maintains control of the music with an iron fist, to the point that the official game releases are saddled with (subjectively) inferior MIDI versions of the tracks, while the full orchestral versions are sequestered off to Japan-only concerts and soundtrack albums.
