Are all artist just selfish pricks?

To think that they have some hot new take on the world

That they don’t have to grind themselves down

Just because they have some cute ideas

They are the one who gets to “save” humanity from the humdrum

when really they are the ones saved from the slaughter

Are the ones who give up on their dreams all fools?

Who will live to see others reap the rewards of the same idea’s they had.

But whos seed’s they never sowed to fruition.

And me

Whos job is to be used

Whos most content when abused

I’m am only happy when I serve a bigger need

Is this all I am made to be?

Sometimes I think the world isn’t real.

I guess it more of a sick hope.

Because then I would be important.
