i’m blossoming
I eat flowers for breakfast, but the flowers do not die
They sit inside my stomach as they swallow my insides
My intestines are replaced by leaves and dirt and floral blood
As the flowers drop their petals from forever blooming buds
And the petals, soft, creep up my throat until I breathe no more
They spill out of my mouth until my jaw is feeling sore
So I pick their velvet off the ground and eat flowers for lunch
Because my stomach’s on the line and my diet is the punch
And my heart begins to tremble as roots shoot up into my veins
And bulbs planted in my head sprout holes right through my brains
And blossoms bloom and blossoms bloom and blossoms bloom again
And so I eat myself for dinner to stop, forever, pain
