[TOMT] A music video where a rapper is walking forwards down a street while everyone else is walking backwards around him

I remember seeing a music video in the 90s/00s where a rapper (I thought it was Sisqo or Nelly, but a search has turned up nothing) is walking/dancing down the street, going forwards, and everyone else is walking backwards around them.

I found out later that the rapper learned how to move backwards so his movement would look right when they reversed the footage.

Can anyone help? I've been searching for a while now and found nothing. It's not The Girl Is Mine by Destiny's Child.

Drop by The Pharcyde is a pretty famous reverse-shot rap video, directed by Spike Jonze!

It's not this, but that's pretty impressive.

Not this, unfortunately!

Are you sure you’re not thinking of Weird Al? I read he learned the lyrics to Amish Paradise backwards for the music video.

I'm almost positive it wasn't Weird Al.

Was it SHAD?

From memory the person is filmed walking down the street side-on - that is, they are filmed in profile and they're walking either from the right side of the screen to the left, or the other way around. I believe the performer was black, and they were dancing more than walking. It might not have been the whole music video where this took place, but only a part of it.

Are you sure about the time frame? A newer one would be “P’s & Q’s” by Mick Jenkins.

Not this! I'm starting to think I dreamt it, except that I remember speaking to my sister about how they made it, and she didn't believe that the artist had walked the whole thing backwards. If it weren't for that extra memory, I'd easily believe by now that it doesn't exist, since I've done quite a lot of research, and there have been quite a few suggestions here!

Have you tried “Be Easy” by T.I.? That’s the only one I can think of with a black rapper that’s not Pharcyde.

This is about the right "tone", but as far as I can remember the video I'm thinking of was basically one shot.
