I played a public event in the winding cove, and I had a level 50 person with me. All of the enemies were double question marks, which I know means they’re higher level than me by a long way. I couldn’t damage them at all.

First question: does the level of a public event scale with the levels of the players? I’ve been in other public events with higher level players and I was fine.

Second question: if public events have a fixed level, how can I find out what it is so I don’t start one and then realise it’s beyond me?

Does anyone have any insight into how long it takes between a graphics card being announced, and being available to buy? I live in the UK, if it makes a difference, and details of the 2070 Mini from Gigabyte and the 2070 ITX from MSI have been on their websites for nearly 2 months, as far as I can tell, but I can't find anywhere to buy them in this country.

The moderation/shield icon in the navigation bar opens a drop-down menu, but the icon is given the same treatment as other icons like the messages/envelope icon, which does not open a drop down menu. For people who like to open links in new tabs, they need to remember which icons open drop-down menus and which do not, which increases cognitive load.

Even though I'm a UX designer, I won't suggest any solutions because I know how much that bothers UX designers.

I remember seeing a music video in the 90s/00s where a rapper (I thought it was Sisqo or Nelly, but a search has turned up nothing) is walking/dancing down the street, going forwards, and everyone else is walking backwards around them.

I found out later that the rapper learned how to move backwards so his movement would look right when they reversed the footage.

I'm working on a blog engine that's extremely simple, which suits me well because I haven't written much PHP in the past.

Things are going fine, but the pages that make up the admin interface of the blog need to be locked behind some kind of authentication. I don't want strangers coming to the right URL and adding posts to my blog, after all.

This is a project that will be hosted on my server only, to power my personal blog. What are some simple authentication methods I can use that are still secure? Some notes:

1. I'm happy to use password only authentication - since it's only me I don't need a user name.
2. I'm not using a database - everything is stored in files. I'm using password_has

I've got two questions:

• The M.2 slot is on the BACK of the motherboard, meaning virtually no cooling/moving air. Should I avoid getting an SSD there?
• If I did get an M.2 SSD, and it was a PCI-E SSD, would that take PCI channels away from my graphics card? I read that the motherboard shares the 16 PCI-E channels between the graphics card and a PCI-E SSD, if you have one installed.

It bothers me that the vibrations when I receive a notification on my Apple Watch are sometimes different. I'd rather make them all identical.

I feel like I've seen a setting somewhere that tells the Apple Watch to mirror the vibration pattern on the iPhone, but I can't remember where it is.

Could anyone tell me, if this is possible, how I can make sure all notification vibrations are the same on the Apple Watch?

FIXED: I replaced both the motherboard and the CPU and now it's fixed. Not sure what caused both to break!

Bit of an odd one, I think. Just built a new PC:

Node 202 with integrated 450w SFX power supply

Asus H170i-Plus D3 (ITX motherboard)

Gigabyte GTX 970 ITX

8GB HyperX DDR3 RAM

Intel i5 6500

500GB SSD

The RAM, graphics card, and the SSD are from my old computer and confirmed working as of 3 days ago.

The problem is when I press the power button, the power LED and the CPU fan will flicker and then stop again. A split second.

This won't happen the next time I press the power button unless I turn off the PSU and turn it back on again.

Steps I've taken:

• reseated the CPU

I don't know if this workflow matches other moderators at all, but in our sub-reddit we remove a lot of posts which break the rules.

We can't use an auto moderator because a lot of those removals are judgement calls.

As a consequence, I do the following steps very often:

1. Leave a comment
2. Distinguish my comment
3. Click "Remove" on the submission

It would be absolutely wonderful if I could type a comment, and then similar to the "Post and sticky" feature that I recently saw added, do all three of the above steps in one go.

Of course, if everyone else's manual moderation work flow is different, then I understand this wouldn't be top of the development queue!

I recently sold my Xbox 360 and PS3, which means my Tales collection is sitting around doing nothing. I thought I might post on here and offer to sell it to someone so they can get a jump-start.
