[1176] Sacrilege

Hello friends!

I feel like I'm just not making much of an improvement in my writing, like I've hit some kind of authorial blank space and I'm just skidding on ice. I write a lot of fanfiction (like, a lot) -- this is a Warhammer 40K piece. You don't need to be super familiar with the setting, and in fact, you're probably familiar with the deity in question. This work involves Khorne, the Blood God, who sits on his Skull Throne.

I'm looking to be utterly destroyed here. Pick me apart, throw me to the wolves. I have the technology. I can rebuild me. But I'm not getting anywhere by not opening myself up to critique. I wrote this entirely off-the-cuff: it's my most recent and most 'natural' piece, and felt like the best example to be destroyed.
