Rehab question
Background; I have had a persistent elbow sprain caused by carrying my now 10 month old up two flights of stairs in his baby carrier. This is something I've done many times, and while he is a heavy bastard, I think the cause was a sudden shift in other things I was carrying that caused my elbow to kinda pop mid climb.
I mostly got over it and started swinging a 16kg KB with TGU's and things were going well. So well, that I added in a couple practice snatches. I didn't feel anything at the time, but the next day it was like I had re-sprained my elbow.
Three weeks later I have started rehabbing it with some band work and it has been going pretty well. My ROM has improved, and I haven't had any locking up or pain for a week. I'm still not to the point where I can swing a KB yet.
So, here's my question; In the interest of preserving my KB swing form and getting a decent workout what are the best banded exercises that mimic the KBS? I have tried doing a few banded good mornings and they seem to feel similar at the top, but they lack the load at the bottom. Any suggestions welcome!

Bands don't work the same way as weights or cables. That's what"s great about them and also sometimes a problem. A long band will grow slower in tension, but you might also need to split exercises into parts and still it will be different techniquewise.
Personally I wouldn't care about swing form. If it goes, it'll come back. Recovery is the most important thing.
Great advice!!
