My current bike packing rig is a 2019 Honzo ST. I recently took it on a 50/50 pavement and gravel trip. That trip got me thinking that maybe I should have a rigid fork to swap out for the stock Revelation if I do a similar ride.

I can only find a few forks that are suspension corrected with enough length that it wouldn’t significantly affect the Honzo’s HT angle and BB height.

I recently stumbled on the 1120 fork online and it seems to check all the boxes. Any reason why this wouldn’t make for an awesome swap out option on my Honzo for gravel, pavement, and commuting to work on mostly roads?

Before the suggestions come in to just get a dedicated bikepacking bike; I want to stay married.

My dropper stopped working properly so I decided to remove it to trouble shoot it. The cable in internally routed (2018 Stumpjumper alloy). Unfortunately I am unable to move the cable housing more than a few inches in either direction.

I have tried twisting the dropper back and forth. I have tried force feeding the housing while pulling on the dropper. I have tried removing the lever and making it as slack as possible, but none of these have allowed me to access the bottom of the dropper to release it. The cable does not come off the lever itself, so I'm thinking at this point my only option is to cut the cable and pull it through.

Before I do this, any other suggestions? Also I took out

This is a picture of a carbon seat stay on a 2017 Salsa Redpoint. It was damaged after a small jump. My initial thought was to just replace the seat stay as the rest of the frame is fine. After contacting local Salsa dealers, Salsa support, and browsing Pink Bike; no luck. The best I can find are full frames for around $2,500.

Then I sent this pic to a reputable repair shop and the mechanic said it can be done, but it's complicated because of the proximity to the upper linkage. He estimated around $500-750 for that kind of work.

My last idea is to find a replacement seat stay from another similar bike that is currently available, but I have no idea how to even go about that. My question is

I am having trouble locating a replacement rear derailleur hanger for this bike frame. I bought this Vilano road bike a few years back from Craig's list so I have no idea what year frame it is. The serial number on the bottom bracket is GH1007126. I can't locate this frame on Vilano's website. Unfortunately I threw the bent hanger in the trash so I don't have it as a reference. Help!

This is my first grow. The seeds are NL auto from Seedsman. I got off to a rough start when my first two seeds dried up in the paper towel during germination. I tossed them in some dirt anyway and the plant in the lower left survived which is why it is about a week ahead of the other two (middle and right).

Anyway, the middle plant keeps spitting out leaves but refuses to flower. My suspicions is that this is not a true auto. If this is true, then can I attempt to flip it with two other plants flowering away, or do I risk messing them up?

I recently purchased a multifamily property and a month ago I received a $1,000 water bill. The city where I bought bills water quarterly, so none of that $1,000 is my responsibility.

The first thing I did was call the water company and they said they would issue a final bill to the previous owner. I asked them what happens if the previous owner doesn't pay, and they said that they would expect the current owner (me) to pay.

I have also tried to contact the previous owner by contacting the selling agent. It's been a month and no response, so now I have a past due bill.

Any advice on what to do next?

Edit; thanks for all the advice. The property is located in Dayton OH. I am sending a c

I have been trying to figure out a way to compare cash flow from a rental property when purchasing with a HELOC VS a traditional 30 yr mortgage. When I plug the numbers in, the cash flow from a HELOC looks pitiful compared to the 30 year mortgage. Am I doing something wrong?

My current HELOC I opened is for $400k at 4.75% and is open for 15 years (I'm not sure if that matters). Anyway, how can I plug these numbers in to a real estate investment calculator that will accurately show my cash flow for a prospective property?

As the title says. My wife and I went to our local credit union today to open a HELOC with our primary residence that we own outright. During the paperwork part the banker said that they can't lend when the deed has the property under our joint trust. It has to be under our names.

The part I don't understand is that my wife and I are listed as deed trustees, so I don't see the difference but the bank does...

At this point I am considering transferring the deed from our living trust to ourselves and just save the hassle of shopping for a bank that doesn't care.

Has anyone else come across this? What did you end up doing?

I'm aware that any legal advice from internet strangers doesn't m

Background; I have had a persistent elbow sprain caused by carrying my now 10 month old up two flights of stairs in his baby carrier. This is something I've done many times, and while he is a heavy bastard, I think the cause was a sudden shift in other things I was carrying that caused my elbow to kinda pop mid climb.

I mostly got over it and started swinging a 16kg KB with TGU's and things were going well. So well, that I added in a couple practice snatches. I didn't feel anything at the time, but the next day it was like I had re-sprained my elbow.

Three weeks later I have started rehabbing it with some band work and it has been going pretty well. My ROM has improved, and I haven't had

Just curious if anyone familiar with JP has come across any strategies for trials/bosses where double bard has helped. The reason I'm asking is because both Ramza and now Lunera are here in GL. Both of them are good bards, but they also have secondary uses.

For example; Ramza breaks x 2 plus another action while Lunera covers buff duty. Then they switch alowing Lunera to fire off some MAG damage. Is this a viable strategy or a waste of space?

(asking for a friend who enhanced Ramza and now is hesitant to spend crysts on another bard named Lunera)
