Kimchi giving me her bunny-face while riding the tube because she wanted scritches and could not reach me (don't worry, she got her scritches)

Scritch?
I think she means scratch. Ive never heard it pronounced as 'scritch' though..
In our family, a "scratch" involves finger-tips to skin with movement of arm across an area, whereas a "scritch" is finger-tips to skin with hand stationary over an area & movement of finger-tips only. Or so says Lee.
That was an awesome explanation broski. Thats amazing though, I am going to implement this into my growing family. Literally mind blown.
Btw, where are you from? That might have to do with the term.
About 10 miles from the Canadian border in the Pacific Northwest. Can recall my folks (I'm 67) determining if our family dogs would care for a skritch or scratch - scratches being a more involved process with perhaps a more playful component, and skritches more of a "Well, here we are together & isn't that just dandy enough?" kind of contact (think along the lines of skritching your Lab about 5:30 in the morning while you're tucked down in the cat-tails, and scratching your Brittney when she keeps running off with the clothes you're attempting to put on.)
How did she lose her left ear? Did a racoon bite it off?
She didn't lose her ear, it's just flopped back. She makes this doe-eyed "bunny face" what she wants something or is being sweet.
Kimchi is such a cute doggo
Dangerously so. And way too smart for her own good.
