We're a ways out from it, but my next campaign will be Curse of Strahd and I'm planning on rolling a new character for it. I've been tossing around the idea of a Warlock or Monk, and with the new Van Richten's guide out, I was entertaining the idea of playing a Dhampir. But it raised a couple questions I can't seem to find any direct conversation about, so I'm curious what more experienced players would think:

  1. Dhampirs - somebody vaguely mentioned to me in conversation that they thought Dhampirs were vulnerable to Strahd. Is that true? I couldn't find anything on it so I am not sure.

  2. Could a Dhampir be a Sun Sol Monk? It seemed like a potentially interesting combination from a narrat

I'm playing through year 4 right now and have been blasting through it, but an old side quest from year 2 that I didn't finish (Meet the Malfoys) because I wasn't interested as popped up right as I've started chapter 7 of year 4, and I don't want to do it. I'm just not sure if I ignore it and blast to chapter 8 when you can unlock the first date side quest, will I block that one from becoming available until the current one runs out of time or is finished?

I've been trying to figure out if I download Minecraft for my PC and for my Switch, if I can easily just jump back and forth between platforms while playing the same game/world. I'd been using my Google fu but most everything I've found is bringing up cross platform play with friends (which is dope) but I haven't found a clear answer on actually shifting between platforms.

I just want to be able to play on my PC and then decide to go crawl in bed and keep playing on my Switch.

Anyone know if that's possible? I'm trying to decide which one to buy it for first since I know I'd have to buy it for each platform unless I want to transfer the license (which is fine, I don't mind buying it twice)

I am at my wit's fucking end right now. I have a 95lb malamute-golden-retriever I adopted from a rescue back in December of 2018. He was about 2 at the time, so he's about 4, now. No formal training when I got him, and it became very apparent very quickly that whoever had him the first 2 years of his life didn't take him anywhere. Was terrified of the city noise/business, never walked up stairs, or over a bridge, or been in an elevator. Figured out he's afraid of heights. Point is, he didn't get a lot of exposure he needed when he was a puppy. But damn he loves little kids and has loads of dog friends. Got used to the city and is a total pro at riding the subway, being super cool, and knowin

Hey PC comrades! After a loooong time of using a mediocre pc I inherited from my ex many moons ago, I'm finally on a good position to build my first self-made pc. Yay!!!

Only problem is, I have no idea wtf I'm doing. So, naturally, I'm hoping you kind folks can advise me on what I should plan to get, and how much I should expect to spend.

Basically what I'm aiming to do is what my ex did with his pc. I want to be able to run pretty much anything on the best graphics, I love to run an avalanche of mods for a lot of games (my current pc haaaaaates my skyrim build so I'd avoided at issue by using my then s/o's comp), and I plan on using a 50" 4kd uhd curved screen TV (Samsung) as my monitor
