Wonder if they’re making any money. Also, I worked with a few people who did business in China and the gist of my experience with them told me that anyone who doesn’t speak Chinese and tries to do business in China is low hanging fruit.

Well, the update says that while they lost a lot of money, it's not enough to kill the company. They're planning to continue building and selling Model01s, even manufacture a whole new keyboard. I hope that means they're making at least some money, and don't have to use funds from another source.

They didn’t seem to provide a bottom line, but the dollar figure looked like $100k usd outstanding bill but the lady paid two installments of “half” of some other figure to get the factory to release and ship all the finished stuff.

That doesn’t cover the items that didn’t get made due to short / scam invoices.

The note they ended on was that there was an expectation of civil court resolution.... but how do you squeeze water from a stone? If she’s fraudstering all around town, I doubt she has the resources to refund leftovers, and the factory still needs to build the 1,300 unit deficit.
