Favorite modifications to nSuns?

Sorry u/PyramidRep if this is better in one of the stickied threads - I've seen it occasionally but thought we could get another discussion going.

I run the 5-day, and have been on it for more than a year. While it's great, I did find myself wanting to switch things up + I've found some alterations that work better for me:

  • All bench sets on +1 day are 5 reps. I respond much better to high volume benching, and this ensures I'm not progressing my TM too quickly.

  • BBB (5x10) rep schema for T2 CGBP and incline. This has really helped my CGBP. I lowered the percentages initially but I'm back up to what it was. I did this for OHP for a bit but I didn't like it.

  • Accessories-wise, I do ab work (cable crunches/weighted planks/hanging leg raises) and lateral raises every lower day. I do face pulls ever upper. My favorite accessory right now are skullcrushes and I've found they've really helped my pushing work

I'm going to try out a modification to the lower T2s that I've seen around here once I get back to the US. Instead of doing (sheiko I believe) 357468 I'm going to just pyramid down, ie. 53876543 with the first two being warmups. More often than not, I spend too much time mentally prepping myself for the last couple sets of the T2s so I'm going to try this out.

I do clean on my first day of the 5 day program instead of another bench day. I focus on bar speed as I drop weight.

I coach track and meet up to work out with my athletes every now and then. I’ve been incorporating some of the main lifts with them but we usually end up contrasting some more specific work like box jumps and such on squat and deadlift.

Once I get my clean where I want to I think I’m going to try weighted pull-ups as my T1. I really need to work on my lat strength.

When I’m by myself all my leg day accessories are unilateral. Bulgarian split squats, pistol squats, leg curl, calf raises, etc.

I've considered doing lower rep higher intensity leg stuff since historically I've loved that and had a good time with it. Haven't done it yet, but probably will soon.
