Amor Towles' A Gentleman In Moscow. Count Alexander Rostov is sentenced to live out the remainder of his life in Moscow's Metropol Hotel. Deals with themes like positivity in isolation, making one's own fun, finding joy in the simpler things. Sometimes the Count struggles with his situation, sometimes he's overjoyed and happy it happened to him. It's a very human novel with excellent characters, and we may be able to find some inspiration through Alex in these unique times.

I hit bicep accessories 3x a week through some form of curl. While heavy BB cheat curls and preacher curls w/ an ez bar are my favorite, I'm often unable to do them as my forearm tendinitis really acts up. I already do a ton of hammer curls (regular, preacher, etc), but I've found they blow up my forearms more so than the head of my bicep. Anyone have any go-to's curls that can work around tendinitis?

Sorry u/PyramidRep if this is better in one of the stickied threads - I've seen it occasionally but thought we could get another discussion going.

I run the 5-day, and have been on it for more than a year. While it's great, I did find myself wanting to switch things up + I've found some alterations that work better for me:

  • All bench sets on +1 day are 5 reps. I respond much better to high volume benching, and this ensures I'm not progressing my TM too quickly.

  • BBB (5x10) rep schema for T2 CGBP and incline. This has really helped my CGBP. I lowered the percentages initially but I'm back up to what it was. I did this for OHP for a bit but I didn't like it.

  • Accessories-wise, I do ab

Found out late notice that I have a lot of unused time-off, so I'm taking next week off to go to Europe (from east coast America). I'm going to fly out this Saturday/Sunday and return the following Sat/Sun. Question is - where should I go? I've got a couple locations gon my radar but I wanted this subs input as some extra research.

I'm looking for cities with (1) lots of history/culture (2) museums, modern art specifically (3) great to just walk around in and get lost and (4) great food.

Here's what I'm looking at:

- Portugal. Lisbon, Sintra and Porto. Been on my list forever but I might prefer to go in the summer when its warmer

- Prague -> some German city (maybe Mu

Hey guys (and girls). Wanted to see what everyone was doing for accessory volume. Personally, I do 4 sets for the volume, but I've found my mental enjoyment of working out (for whatever reason) is higher when I only do 3. I'd almost prefer to do two exercises of 3 sets each than do one of 4.

Let me start this off by saying Jesus is a fine player, I was there for his late minute goal vs Southampton to clinch us the 100 points, and I'm not trying to take anything away from him. His work rate to pull away defenders is excellent. However, as we've seen this season, he's a bit out of form. We've also seen our front 3 (more like 5 when our two attacking mids push in between the FBs and CBs) be extremely fluid. Just today, we saw Jesus move over to the left wing while Sane played centrally. I was curious as to what people thought of running Sane left, Sterling centrally, and Mahrez right. We know Sterling can play there, he does it a lot when Aguero drops deep to pick up the ball, plus

Myself and my two roommates are looking for a fourth to join us! We've got a great place close to the Alewife T. We're all young working professionals, (early 20's, MMF). We typically do our own things but we're all very friendly and laid-back. We've recently got a dope cat too.

We're looking for a young professional like ourselves to sign onto a lease ending 8/31/19.

The room is $910 + utilities. Driveway parking + backyard + basement with washer/dryer. PM me if interested!

Teacher's Lounge: The Pilot Ep

Big Grande Teachers' Lounge

Not sure if this is common knowledge, but Teacher's Lounge was originally a one-off episode of With Special Guest, on Sept 3 2015. Starring none other than Keith Padre and basketball coach Logan Waters. Seriously. Give it a listen if you haven't heard it, they get up to their classic hijinks. Plus, Howard may not have always been the toothless virgin the guys made him out to be...

Our next game is at Anfield. Wanted a place for people to share their thoughts on our upcoming fixture. I've shared some of mine here.

Formation

We've got a few options. Although I don't see us running anything other than a 4-3-3, we've had enough LB issues that maybe Pep will go for something with more defensive security. I'll outline some popular choices and give my thoughts on them:

4-3-3: Our go-to, and most likely how we will line up. Something close to:

Sane - Aguero - Sterling
D. Silva - Fernandinho - B. Silva
Zinchenko/Delph - Laporte - Stones - Walker
Ederson

Could see some variety in our backline but the goal is here is to not get burned by Liverpool
