Any podcasts you like about law?
I’ll have some long driving sessions that I want to fill and podcasts came to my mind first. Do you know about any podcasts that are about legal philosophy, sociology or other areas?

Excited Utterance is the most substantive and engaging one I've come across. A professor interviews other scholars about their recent work in evidence - but you don't need to be an evidence aficionado to get a lot out of it.
I can second this! The host is one of my professors, and he's awesome. Incredibly knowledgeable, and excited about his topics, but makes it exciting and accessible for everyone else also.
Added to the list, thank you very much!
Opening Arguments has hundreds of shows on legal concepts and current affairs
Oral Arguments is two professors chatting about papers - it's wholesome and really in depth sometimes.
Short Circuit by the Institute for Justice is also a great one. They discuss recent federal courts of appeals decisions in a really approachable way. I think they release episodes biweekly. It's a libertarian organization, but I don't find this to slant the content that much.
Weekly podcast about the Supreme Court
On Topic by Renato Mariotti and Stay Tuned with Preet (Bharara) have been really decent in providing analysis of the current state of affairs from former federal prosecutors.
What Trump Can Teach Us About Con Law is also good. Infrequent with their releases, but decent. Roman Mars talks with Professor Elizabeth Joh from UC Davis about...well...what Trump can teach us about ConLaw
I do a show called "The Bar Review Podcast" where I get drunk and talk about different legal topics. Short episodes which are meant to be funny and understandable to non-law people.
If anything, you'll have something to laugh at for 5-8 minutes per week.
Oh I could listen to you all day, just listened to one of them. Thank you!
First Monday’s is rad.
May It Please the Court is a great one!
Trial Lawyer Nation is great for anyone interested in plaintiff's personal injury work.
I Am The Law has at least one very handsome host.
the Mindful Method Podcast is a good podcast about law school and bar prep
More Perfect (Season 1 and 2 only) - does a factual background on some big supreme court cases. I thought they were quite interesting, and very much enjoyed those two seasons. If Elie Mystal starts talking, just ignore his idiotic comments. Stay away from Season 3 - they tried to do an album about the Constitutional amendments, and it just does not work.
All the President's Lawyers - Ken White from Popehat talks about the legal implications and legal proceedings surrounding President Trump. And he answers the question of whether it's RICO (Hint - it's not).
The album thing just sorta missed for me. I didn't like any song, and the deep dives they did in seasons one and two were the best thing about the show.
Thanks! I’m adding them to my list.
I'd like to second the point about the Season 3 of More Perfect and Elie Mystal.
Elie from Above the Law is trying to purport himself as a legal commentator to unsuspecting laymen now? Lol.
