Worried about going back to teaching
I suffered a relapse last year and I managed to emerge from it with a higher dose of medication and another new medication that was added. I was not a hundred percent but I managed to get past each day somewhat OK.
I've been on vacation for the past month (I'm a teacher) and I'm experiencing symptoms again despite being away from my main trigger which is teaching.
It happens whenever I go to crowded areas mainly shopping malls. My vision gets blurry, my face and chest feel hot and my knees feel like they are going to collapse. I've not exactly been taking my medication on time as I was on vacation mode. I really hope that it's because of this.
I start teaching tomorrow onwards and I'm very worried that I'm going to experience those symptoms again. It's really very demoralising and I don't want to start the school year feeling so jittery.

I can’t say for sure whether your going to experience the symptoms again. No one can really. But what I can say is that worrying won’t help anything.
As someone who learned the hard way to never slack on meds (mine are anti anxiety and I have had one hell of an anxious week) so take this worry as a lesson.
But you clearly care about your teaching ability and by that I’d say you care about your students. Take the day easy, if you can. Make it a chill day as a way back from vacation. I’m sure the students will like it.
Hope it goes well. Wishing you the best!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
