Requesting /r/Flutter, I mod the much larger /r/FlutterDev, the users want to merge, but the mods refuse to reply to us!

I mod the larger FlutterDev subreddit. My other fellow mods have tried multiple times to reach out to their mods but never get a response. They aren't moderating their subreddit at all, spam stays up forever. One mod is 7 months inactive, the other has only posted on his other sub /r/Angular2 in at least 7 months.
I tried to post this request on my new Reddit Username (since this one--my old one is not very appropriate) but do not have sufficient karma. My new Reddit username (Pritykin) which is a mod of r/FlutterDev and founder of the Discord community. I can also provide any proof that both accounts are me :D.

Hey there, I am sorry but the mods are still active. You will have to reach out to them.

But we have reached out to them, many times. They simply don't respond. We've never heard anything back.

Also, after we tried and tried to contact the other sub's mods without success, we sent an admin message explaining the situation, and we were told by an admin that we should try to redditrequest anyway even though the mod is active on another sub. To wait a month just to get the response that we already knew is disappointing.

Just because you want too and they don't doesn't make them HAVE to merge. This is ridiculous

Doesn't matter, OP literally said another mod got a response from one of the flutter's mod. They are active. It doesn't matter if it isn't moderated or whatnot. They own the sub

As u/Sycopathy pointed out, we've never had any response from the subreddit's mods, only from the reddit admins.
The link won't work for you because it is between myself and the reddit admins, and is provided for the admins who process redditrequests.

I'm the r/FlutterDev mod who reached out to the admins in PM and was told to post here.
