Looking for a jeweler
I bought a pair of earrings that I love, but I’m allergic to the material in the earwires. I’m looking for a jeweler who can replace the earwires with real silver or gold. Suggestions?

Arden Jewelers is really good! My whole family only uses them!
I used them a while back to get something custom. They were willing to break down a necklace and create a bracelet and earrings for me. 5 stars
MJ Doyle is amazing and would give a fair price. He’s such a nice man and does high quality work. He fixed my engagement ring and we got our wedding bands from him.
If it's standard ear "hook" wires you're looking to replace, this can be very easily done yourself with a pair of needle nose pliers for the cost of the new wires alone. It takes maybe three minutes. Maybe a few more with a youtube video or set of instructions if you're truly lost. I've made jewelry on and off for several years (not as a job, but for pleasure) and I feel like if you took them in to a shop for this, you'd get charged an unfair price for how little work it is.
However, if you don't trust yourself to do it or don't have the type of wires I'm thinking of, please disregard this!
You have a friendly Shane Co!
I think Little Relics in Midtown would do this for you!
I wouldn’t take your jewelry there if you would like them back in a reasonable time. I brought in a piece for simple clasp repair and it took two months. They also tried to return me someone else’s necklace.
Thank you!
