I bought Yossi Arefi's "Snacking Cakes"--it is EXCELLENT. There's a salted caramel peanut butter cake that has a penuche frosting that specifies 1/4c heavy cream. Is the cream necessary? I have 2%milk. I know the fat in heavy cream is much higher, almost 40%. Can I increase the powdered sugar to compensate? Has anyone done this? The frosting looks incredible in the picture on the book and I'm dying to try it.
Anyone been to ad/rem tattoo studio? I'm thinking of booking an appointment w one of them when they open their books. The studio is new so I can't find many reviews, even though I follow both artists on instagram. Just wondering if anyone had any first hand experience. Thanks!

i like to wear my hair half up-half down on non-wash days but i'd like to find a pretty hair clip to hold my hair up. i like the claw clips from scunci and all that, but i'd also like to wear prettier ones for nicer occasions. but i have pretty thick hair so most of them don't hold up. any suggestions?

i have at&t, but because of where the box is, internet speeds are ridiculously slow. verizon isn't available. why is west sac such an internet desert, and is there talk of this changing? we're going to buy a house here but i'm really irritated at the internet options. i'm annoyed that in 2019 internet options are so limited here.

Half my surfaces were dusty when she left, and she didn't even stay for the entire time we paid. I want someone reliable, hard working, who will vacuum stairs and bring their own supplies.

I searched but saw just a brief mention of this hotel. We booked a room at the Celestine in Shiba. Tokyo is huge and sprawling and I’m overwhelmed looking at the map already. Is this a good location for a 30-something couple with an interest in food and museums and samurais? I guess I just want to make sure we aren’t stuck in a corporate or businessy area. I received a big tub of mango chutney with my India takeout last night. It’s delicious—only slightly sweet, and very spicy and spiced. So far I’ve been eating it with naan, but any other ideas how I can use it?
