/r/Metalcore's Best of 2018 | VOTING ROUND

Welcome to the 6th annual r/Metalcore Best Of Voting Round! Let's wrap up 2018 with the final vote to decide what r/Metalcore truly thinks about the year in review.

These are your finalists.

But before we do anything, there are two quick announcements that need to be made.

1. In the category of "Moderator of the Year", u/AutoModerator won in a landslide victory...with u/daddy_fiasco coming in hot as the runner-up, and the rookie u/rod_kimble13 taking 3rd place.

u/Roseland and I are very upset. But in any event, congrats to the winners!

2. The very serious category of Pineapple on Pizza vs. Pineapple not on Pizza ended in an exact tie (seriously though, I might go screenshot it later. it was something like 205-205 when I checked). So instead of announcing the winner here as planned, we are bringing it to sudden death mode in this thread. I cannot believe I am actually typing this.

The rules are simple, vote on each category and we will tally things up in about a week. These are the highest voted nominees from each category of the nomination round.

Also - quick shoutout to Architects for winning the Architects of the Year award!

Oh, and the bolded/green name/10 option categories = the most important awards. There's only three of them, so make sure to vote on those. Album of the Year, Song of the Year, EP of the Year

edit: jesus fuck that took me literally 2 hours to get all of the categories and nominees typed out, my head hurts love you all.

edit 2: chit chat thread is up!
