Can confirm, fuck Frontier
Almost signed up for internet with them last week, but their $40/month internet was going to cost at least $55 a month. Stuck with my current provider where their $40/month internet costs $40 per month.
... i read your words, and am confused. Do you mean ..." my $40 costs my $75" ?... yes, comcast, why do you ask?
Used to work for them, it's a million times worse than anyone knows
Edit: MN customers have it waaaaay easy. Try living in WV and having frontier. It was 80% of our call volume
Before I moved out of parents house, it cost $75 a month for 1mbps down. Outside of city limits, no other options. Could get 3 down if you bundled with home phone and Dish.
Phone quality was the absolute worst when parents did have it. Static filled calls, random call drops, sometimes calls wouldn't even reach the house.
Can't wait to see Frontier collapse under it's terrible practices.
Well, the CEO was denied his bonus, and has to try to make ends meet on his $1M salary and $5M in stock options. That'll really show him.
I was told this by the tech guy who has to fix the lines when you have phone problems several years back. The problem is there is no fiber to replace it yet.
You always have static and other noise and squealing on them phone lines anymore. The other issue is when they get fiber you can't make a call if the power is out unless you have backup power yourself and most people don't.
They are the company we got away from when they put in fixed wireless towers out here. They only gave us 1 megabit and that is all that is still available in this area for over 40 a month. And out here they make you have phone service too. I guess i get about 15 times the speed for less than double the amount but it is still much higher than most pay for that speed.
This is not just Minnesota this is in Illinois too and most likely everywhere there is Frontier. If they require refunds then we are owed a lot of money by frontier here in Illinois even. I hope this happens.
Took them a fucking week to send a technician to fix my internet.
