[Superhot] - Do you find the extra (post-campaign) modes fun?

I'm curious what other people think, because I'm not sure that I think these are fun. In theory, they seem like they'd be a fun way to challenge yourself. It's just that in execution, I find it more frustrating than rewarding.

Headshots Only - Not fun. The aiming just isn't that precise and the AI will sometimes be running to a side and then just stop and turn so the perfect prediction you had to make goes out the window. The lack of precision combined with the need for perfect precision makes this quite frustrating.

Speedrun (Normal game time and real time) - I've beaten like 5 levels for each and just can't seem to push myself to keep doing more. This is another issue of requiring great precision. If you don't hit a shot perfectly and immediately, you've just used up too much time.

Hardcore - This one could be decent, though I've only beaten a few segments. It's hard, but it's the kind of challenge I could potentially care about going for.

Endless - This is a good mode, no major complaints here.

Don't get me started on beating the game in 10 minutes. I wonder if there are more than 20 people who have this trophy.

I had a lot of fun with all of the modes. Sweated my ass off with the race against real time modes. It’s one of my favorite platinum trophies I own. Wish I could erase the trophies and do it again!

I love endless mode. The other modes are nice enough to have around, but I don’t find them to be vital to the experience.

I find this game to have really bad tracking all round. Weird experiences with guns spinning and even my headset tracking messing up. Makes speed running the missions extremely difficult as time suddenly speeda up cause I'm "moving" and being precise is a challenge.

I've had a lot of fun in endless even though I'm not very good at it. Headshots was fun for a few rounds. I didn't understand why it kicked me back to the main menu though so I gave up after that.

One thing that annoys the hell out of me, tracking-wise, is when it won't let me pick up the damn gun that I'm clearly pointing my hand at.

Sometimes it lets you grab a gun from 5+ feet away and other times I have to actually have my virtual hand touching the gun before it registers.

I have some other tracking-related issues from time to time, which definitely hurts the experience when being forced to do things quickly. Overall, though, the tracking seems to be pretty good for me.

Haha I actually raged multiple times on an endless mission today for this exact reason. I was crawling across the floor trying to pick up guns that were right next to me...

I don't mind if I have to be close, I just want the game to be consistent. When you are led to expect one thing to happen and it doesn't happen that is incredibly frustrating.

I loved playing through Hardcore mode, and Endless kept me coming back. Also, the Don’t Die mode is a great challenge for a playthrough.

But like you said, the speedruns and headshot-only modes were just frustrating. Especially when I discovered that the former are often only completed thanks to an exploit (something to do with grabbing a weapon again just as you grab the teleport pyramid, so it allows you to take it with you). I managed a few without doing that, but ultimately lost interest in pushing myself - knowing that the achievement could be gained more easily than stated kind of put me off putting the hours in, if that makes sense?
