I really don't get why that guardrail ends there. There is a 90 degree turn right after it ends. It should extend to the curve. 

Good work by the recovery crews to give the family closure. 

I looked at the site where she went into the river and it’s just past where there’s a guardrail that would have prevented this from happening. She was terribly unlucky.
