I’ve been searching for a layout I remember seeing in one of the major magazines like Model Railroader maybe 10-15 years ago. I think it was a full pictorial spread of a layout, so maybe it made it on the cover.

I seem to remember an inter-urban line, winding between run down buildings and shacks. Lots of foliage. I want to say golden age, but I don’t recall big locos. Maybe narrow gauge? I remember the layout was detailed, but I get the sense that it was a small layout, maybe even a shelf?

I have this vague image in my memory of a train passing between buildings, shot from street level. Maybe simulating dusk with lights on in buildings? It really felt real, and I can’t shake the feeling

As the title suggests, I’m looking to mount a GoPro directly to a super clamp.

I would like to avoid the obvious two-part solution of a 1/4-20 threaded mount and a separate threaded stud.
