It depends when the test is taken and what you are using.
A value means nothing without what the value was measured for and at what time.
what do you mean what the value was measured for ?
time was about two hours after my last dose. i k know that would make it higher but still seems like a lot
You take blood tests at your lowest point.
You dont take them within hours after your last dose... it makes the test effectively null for doctors and DIY to base any adjustments to the meds.
For example, I took my last 2mg tablet at 5.30pm and got tested next morning at 7.50am and got a value of 344pmol E2.
That’s a whole 14 hours between last dose and it’s what doctors call a “trough”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if I had 800-1000 pmol E2 with a test 1-2 hours after I took it..
ohh i see. thank you!
It can depend on the route of intake. As others said, usually levels are tested before the next intake.
And if bioidentical estrogen and internal intake like sublingual, injections, transdermal or pellet implants are used, many endos do not have restraints with higher levels. The cited levels are in the female range and cis people have higher levels for example with pregnancy without adverse effects.
