And not one Strongarm "Horn"... Any tips on how to appease RNGesus? At this point I have at least three of every other drop. If only I could trade in all these Kulve gems I have from the runs....

No tips just grind your fingers to the bone.

I have shoved so many of those in here.
When I got my "support" it came with two more. I still dont have my water bow

If only it were that easy, lol.
Maybe Ill use the Blitz Spark or something see if I am just not rewarded for using the weapon type I desire.
I wanted the new Kajarr Ice Charge Blade so when the event festival started I began farming KT.....
I literally got every single new Charge Blade twice or more before FINALLY! getting the super OP Ice CB that I wanted.
To give you some perspective that's roughly 12-13 days of farming KT for anywhere from 4-8 hours with variable hunt completion rates because randoms are awesome gods or god aweful.
The only thing you can do is give the hub lass a "1000 yard stare" as you start/join hunt after hunt until you force RNG to finally submit to your will.
Do not hold onto hope, let go of your expectations and just focus on ensuring that your team survives and that you get as many rewards as possible. 100+ hunts later you might get what you want.... But only if you're willing to commit to losing your mind farming the great gold jagras over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and....well you get the point.

You are describing my life since the appreciation event started about 3-4 hours a night, more on weekends.... so I am getting to where you are. At this point I am at 730 KT weapons, if I get to 1k and don't have what I need, I am just going to be done with the whole game til the expansion. I can understand grinding for a weapon, Diablo 2 has eaten more hours for the right combo of enhancements, but for a game that even lets you make materials you need at the melder, a purely random drop to get a weapon is disheartening at least. I am losing my good humor about the whole thing (I currently have three Ice CBs if ya need a spare)....
Pure RNG isn't the best system out there to be sure but hey, at least the grinding is even an option haha
I missed most of the arch tempered elder dragon updates: so between farming to get the gamma sets and farming KT for specific weapons I'll be honest -
I preferred getting bored with KT farming vs. Farming Arch Tempereds' like Kushala Daora solo with a Charge Blade
(ranged or melee ATKD blows away all the weapons with that damn wind pressure haha)
Once the festival ends we can all take a break while we wait for Iceborn and I know I'm ready, especially since Metro Exodus just came out. I Love Monster Hunter but it's not an exclusive relationship haha
