I've been playing for a long time but now that I'm actually starting to stabilize finance wise I've been collecting and deck building is addicting. This however threatens to destabilize my finances and I need advice on how best to manage my card pilfering proclivities.

Been playing causally for a while, but today I dipped my toe in as a support and got a decent amount of abuse. Nothing very actionable beyond "heals are low play someone else." I mostly jumped in comp for more stakes to help me learn, but explaining this just seemed to cause frustration. Notably these were my placement matches so I was getting hooked up with people outside my league.

Point is: if comp isn't a space for improving and testing your skills, then what is it? Just grinding for the next rank? For what purpose?

I'm usually pretty good at handling things but if you can't tell, the voice chat got me fairly tilted. But I just wanna know what I should be doing if I want to work on imp

Hello all. I work as youth care specialist at a home for youth who generally have rough histories that I'd rather not go into. While I'm not a therapist, I have had to try and talk them down from harming themselves or others from time to time, with varying degrees of success. The thing is, I have learned that sometimes, you can say all the right things, and manage the environment as best as was possible, and still get a negative outcome.

Where my issue comes in is that sometimes it leaves me afraid of each potential interaction that I have with a resident if they are in a negative mood. I suspect it comes from some need for control, but I cannot figure out where this fear comes from, oth

Aliens capacity for telepathy varies, though even the most basic telepathic abilities find use in medicine as treatment for brain damage. Basically giving the brain blueprint copies of what it's lost so it can rebuild. Humans, lacking any telepathic capability even to receive such signals, had to come up with alternate methods to deal with brain damage such as extensive therapy to maybe recover lost capabilities or the very concept of consciousness as a way to try and believe that we are something fixed regardless of the state of our brain.

How do Aliens handle this information?

Basically I find myself turned off of cure disease potions because they make having disease in the game trivial when combined with shrines doing the same. What I'm looking for is, ideally, a mod that changes potions and/or ingredients so that instead of curing all diseases, they only cure a specific one. A mod that changes shrines to have a limit to how often they'll cure disease or some kinda condition would also be cool but the potion bit alone would be great.

The ideal scenario I'm imagining would be something like contracting sanguarine vampiris and suddenly being on a race against the clock to avoid being a vampire. It would also make wolves and rats a more threatening presence later i

Hey everyone, this isn't really urgent, but I've been getting my life on track and on the way I found Dr. K. Since I started meditating I feel my growth has been supercharged and life has being going well for me. Ive got therapy in January, I recently built my own PC and desk, and ive been saving to move out of my parents. I am satisfied at where I'm at in my job and currently feeling the best in general I've felt in a while.

At the same time this week I've felt a depressive episode come on. I've been feeling intense episodes of depression and just a general malaise and feeling that everything in life sucks; this has been occurring now and again for at least the past two years. It's part o

I've been recently going through the meditation playlist and found the sound meditation in particular to be very useful. I also saw the video regarding the effects of meditation on the body and found that very interesting, but it only describes the effects of breathing meditations, as well as why scientists think breathing like that leads to spiritual experiences.

I was curious as to how these questions could apply to sound meditation. What physiological effects does sound meditation have on the body, and why is it that sound meditation caused me to have what i can only describe as being unable to identify any aspect of myself or my body.
