People who met their SO on a dating app or similar, what's your story?

I was in China and knew I was returning to my home soon. I go on OkCupid and met my current boyfriend. I messaged him saying "You look like Paul Rudd. He is my celebrity crush." We messaged, we texted, he actually CALLED, and we have been dating for 7 months.

I had recently gotten out of a bad breakup. Really bad. Post breakup, I isolated hard. I just went into hiding because of the shame.
I started doing Live on MeetMe, which was basically like being a cam girl. But I never did anything sexual. I just wanted to talk to people to feel less alone. I talked about art, philosophy, literature, my mundane day. I had a small following and because the Live thing was new, I was one of the top girls for a short time.
Somehow a local viewer convinced me to do a game. I can't remember whose idea was Jeopardy. But I love Jeopardy so I made a version that we could play on Live. Basically with very short response times to reduce cheating chances. There's actually an archive online of old questions and answers and that's what I used.
It go to be a Wednesday thing. People went crazy for it. It was adorable. I loved it. One night, a newbie comes in. There was just something different about him. He was respectful but it wasn't just that because many of the guys were...I tended to block those who weren't. We just clicked. We started talking over the app outside of Live.
Now we live together. Funny thing is I was never on the app to find someone. I was just lonely and going through a bad time. Time will tell if this is a true success story, but it's one that I'll always find a bit cute no matter how our relationship progresses. :)

Met my husband on Plenty of Fish. Met up and hung out for a couple of days. His work was transfering him to a couple of states over and he asked me to come with him. I did and seven months later we eloped. Have been married for 5 years and have a 4 year old daughter.
